Far Eastern Point Shipbrokers is a limited liability company providing high quality services to the shipping industry worldwide with a special focus on a tonnage strengthened for operations in ice and severe weather conditions.

Our services include second hand tonnage sale and purchase, newbuilding, recycling, chartering activities.

Also, our brokers are registered and can act as sole proprietors.

History

Being professional navigators in the industry since 1984 we are dedicated shipbrokers since 2005.

We have longstanding direct connections with shipowners in multipurpose, container, bulk, wet, gas, offshore, passenger, roll on/roll off, vehicle transportation, port operations, towage segments throughout the world as well as enjoy support of international brokers community enabling our specialists to arrange almost any transaction whatever our client needs.

Established by a single family well-educated and experienced maritime specialists the company was registered in March 2020. Our founders are qualified navigation engineer and organization of transportation and management of water transport engineer. Further value was added since joining a ship electrical equipment and automation equipment operation specialist.

Meantime, our history in the shipping industry can be traced back to 1984 when the first voyage started from the Far Eastern port of departure to Bombay in India, followed by hauls routing via seas and oceans across the globe to the destinations in Australia, Hong Kong, Eastern Arctic, China Mainland, Singapore, Cuba, Bulgaria and Japan…

Who we are

We are ship sale and purchase and chartering brokers.

Our job is to first match seller and buyer, ship owner and charterer, and then help them to develop, document and complete the sale and purchase transaction or charter party.

As brokers we owe our principals a general duty to exercise reasonable skill, care and diligence in the performance of business which our principals entrust to us. We seek to carry out the principal’s instructions so far as reasonably possible, conduct negotiations in a prompt, orderly and professional manner, and pay correct attention to the details of the transaction under consideration.

What we do

The company provides services for various type of tonnage sale and purchase, newbuilding projects development, recycling sale arrangement resulting to deals concluded to various destinations.

Chartering activity concentrates on but is not limited to tanker and container ship bareboat or time-charter at present.

We owe a duty to take care in providing information or advice depending on client’s need and agreement. A person under a duty takes reasonable care to provide information on which his client will decide upon a course of action or advises client to as to what course of action he should take.
